How do you deal with those clothes you wear once but aren’t ready to wash? Yi-Chuan is a combination of clothing racks and mirror which aims to create our dressing room while storing clothes. It can accommodate previously-worn clothes and accessories at the same time.
Design Background
Through home visits, we found that most families have trouble with the storage of semi-dirty clothes. The so called semi-dirty clothes refer to clothes worn once but are not ready to wash.

By simplifying the action of placing clothes, users can tidy their clothes easily without folding them. They are able to dress up in the same location, just like having a private personal fitting room. The design of the three-sided screen can be folded and placed according to different indoor spaces.

User Research
Most people are accustomed to placing semi-dirty clothes on beds, coat racks, and chairs. Not only does the room appear messy, but it is also difficult to find clothes in the pile.
Sketch
Modeling
Considering the configuration and necessity of each screen before deciding which processing method to use for each detail.
Reflection
We should go through a thorough consideration in manufacturing and shipping. It seems too bulky to assemble and families cast doubt on the safety of the mirror.
